I went of Grand Designs Live, it became so, same, nice project, big problem, and final, result, with Kevin's end comment, so I gave up watching. This it until recently and one or two episodes seem to be catching my eye, not because the format has changed, just to projects look interesting.
I sit on the “Ask the Expert” stand in the building show that travels about the country backing up the show. It's a trade show for the public, and Kevin has a central area were local experts sit and offer free advice to anyone, why do we do it, well to promote CIAT, who help stage it, but more to get clients, and that's a whole different story.
But for now I want to ask Kevin to look at his format, come on, it has to change, let us see more detail, not just the clever little bit's as a teasing snippet, or the very neat 3D animation, but the real heavy detail, the one I saw the other evening, was a London based Architect rebuilding his own mews terraced house, and the opportunity for some detailed evidence was vast, yet all we got was, well poor.
Come on Kevin, change, expand a little, accommodate us proffesionals for once, next time I see you at one of the shows I will make comment.
